Father Samuel Talabi

           Father  Talabi

Father Talabi was ordained to the Sacred Priesthood on The Feast of St. Joseph, Spouse of Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, March 19, 2022 by The Most Rev. Dr. John E. Upham, Jr., the Archbishop of the Anglican Province of Christ the King and Bishop Ordinary, Diocese of the Atlantic States. He is presently the curate of the Church.

Father Talabi started attending All Saints Anglican Church, with his family, in 2016, as a layman. He became a member of the choir, a lay reader, an acolyte, and a member of the Vestry. In 2018, he became a postulant after being admitted into the Seminary at St. Joseph of Arimathea Theological College in Berkeley California. He studied for and passed the Diaconate examination in March 2020 and has now completed courses to the Priesthood.

Sunday September 19th 2020, following the ordination of becoming a Deacon, Father Talabi was presented with a special stole and communion accessories by Bishop Schultz, that will be used to take the Holy Sacraments to the sick; and a License to preach the Word of God.

Father Talabi emigrated from Nigeria to the United States of America with his family, in September 1988. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Nigeria (1980), and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management (Devry University), 2012. He is married with three (3) children and five (5) grandchildren.

We are grateful to Almighty God for bringing Father Samuel to this important office in our parish.
