One of the great legacies of the Anglican Church is that of choral music. Historically, music-making has been by groups rather than individuals. This may take a variety of incarnations: unison, two-voice parts (mixed or like), three or four-voice parts. Additionally, great use will be made of the extensive resources found in the Hymnal 1940. Our primary function is to enhance the liturgies in which we serve.
The parish choir of All Saints Anglican Church embraces the richness of traditional worship, the beauty of sacred music, and exists to enrich the worship in church. We support and nourish our members to enable them to reach out to others in the name of Christ. Further, we believe that all children and young people who wish to make music in church should be given the opportunity to do so. Currently, we rehearse Sunday mornings at 8:30 and sing for Mass at 9:30. Our repertoire varies from chant to Twentieth-century choral works.
We extend an invitation to join our choir and request that you speak to the choirmaster regarding membership. He may be reached at email@example.com.
